  • Controls

The COMPAKT has a 3-speed controlled fan motor. The low- and boost speed can be adjusted by a manual potentiometer on top of the unit. The middle speed is automatically set by the software and is at the optimum point between the low and boost speeds.

When there are very low outside temperatures for more than 24 hours the COMPAKT unit has a built-in temperature sensor, located within the supply air from outside, to switch-off the fan motor. If this occurs the fan motor will switch off for a short period and will automatically restart itself when the temperature rises.

For uninterrupted air supply and extract volumes in regions with low outside temperatures (< -10 °C for more than 24 hours), a pre- heater in the supply air from outside to the dwelling is required.

    Wireless control

The COMPAKT unit is available with a wireless switch to enable the following functions:

    Service, Maintenance and Commissioning

The COMPAKT can be easily serviced, maintained and commissioned by pulling the unit out of the mounting bracket, without disconnecting the already installed ductwork. Replacing the filters can be done by the end user without the need for tools. In the event of a fault or to clean the air fans, the service technician can easily pull out the complete module from the unit.

Even dismounting the fan motor and printed circuit board is possible without tools. Any necessary maintenance can be carried out with the unit in situ.

    Ease and Flexibility of Installation

Incredibly lightweight, the COMPAKT is designed for installation on walls and ceilings to be carried out as a one-man operation. Complete with a unique fixing bracket that can be supplied prior to the unit itself, this enables convenient first fixing of all duct connections and improved on site security. The unit is also left or right side reversible and comes complete with an innovative mounting frame including 125mm easy fit self sealing duct connections to make this the simplest installation around.
