We all want to be able to create comfortable and healthy environments for our customers and colleagues. However the effect of poor ventilation can be dramatic. Regardless of where you work or socialise, problems with indoor air quality can occur causing allergies, headaches, lethargy and poor concentration. It can also deter custom if the environment in the building harbours stale odours, high humidity levels or disrepair caused by condensation. Although these effects may appear minor, they can have a significant impact on morale and comfort in the workplace, leading to low productivity levels and ultimately potential revenues.

 

How does it work?

The 12 inch heat recovery unit is ideal for smaller commercial premises such as schools, pubs, libraries, doctor's surgeries and restaurants. Incorporating Ultra Low Watt DC motor technology with a four-speed operation, the unit provides continuous extract ventilation.

This extracted air passes through the robust aluminium heat exchange cell before reaching atmosphere. Simultaneously, fresh air is drawn into the unit from the outside before being warmed by the heat exchanger and delivered back into the room. The unit recovers up to 75% of the heat that would normally be lost through traditional extract ventilation, making it a much more energy efficient solution.

An Energy Efficient Alternative

Many ventilation products in restaurants and bars can be noisy, old and have often been switched off. Good ventilation, however, is vital for providing a comfortable and healthy indoor environment. What's more, heat loss is accelerated by warm air escaping through these old products.

The energiVent® IMPACT provides an excellent, low energy alternative. By providing continuous, all year round ventilation, the unit recovers up to 75% of the heat that would normally be lost to atmosphere. This makes it a much more energy efficient solution, whilst improving indoor air quality and the comfort of customers and staff.

Ease of Maintenance and Incredibly Low Life-Cycle Costs

The energiVent® Impact has a significant acoustic benefit. As the noise passes through the unit, the heat recovery cell and foam casing act like a natural sound attenuator and modulates the frequency level. This can help to reduce noise entering the building such as outside traffic noise and additionally, from noise transferred to outside the building, such as music or loud chatter.

Ease of Installation

Designed for speed of installation, the energiVent® IMPACT is highly versatile and provides utmost practicality.

With the wall sleeve extension kit, the unit can be installed into a wall thickness of up to 600mm to provide a secure, clean and airtight application. Alternatively, for simple replacement installations, the energiVent® IMPACT can utilize an existing wall sleeve. Fitted with a robust plastic grille, the system is immensely durable.

Quiet Operation

The energiVent® IMPACT has a significant acoustic benefit. As the noise passes through the unit, the heat recovery cell modulates the frequency level which results in a significant sound reduction.

Wireless Controls and Summer By-pass Facility

The unit is fitted with wireless switching complete with five mode settings: trickle, medium, high, boost and auto.

When the internal temperature reaches 25℃ the unit will switch to auto mode to boost the extract and shut down the supply ventilation.
